Participate in our first ever food challenge! Eat 15 musubis in 15 minutes and win an OPK exclusive musubi shirt and gift certificate. $45 to participate. Don't finish all your musubis in time? Keep your musubis! Seats are limited.

CHALLENGE

RULES

Participants only have 15 minutes to complete eating all their musubis:

  • 10-14 years old participants: 10 musubis

  • 15-18 years old participants: 12 musubis

  • 19 years old and over participants: 15 musubis

 

​When 15 minutes is up, the participants have 30 seconds to swallow what is in their mouths. If participant can complete it in 30 seconds and that was of the last musubi of their count, they are to be deemed a winner.

 

Each musubi is wrapped in cling wrap.  Participants are to remove them and eat the musubi in the 15 minutes given.

 

Participants are allowed water to aid with eating.

 

Only water can be consumed during the food challenge (will be provided).

 

Participants are not allowed to use utensils.

 

Participants must keep their food down for the duration of the challenge. If participant fails to do so, they are disqualified from the challenge.
 

MUSUBI FLAVORS

​Each participant will be given a number of each flavor

  • Original/Teriyaki

  • Furikake (Japanese seaweed condiment with sesame seeds)

  • Gochujang (Korean fermented red chili paste)

  • Super Spicy (Cayan Pepper-Teriyaki Sauce)
